During the storm and immediately after, many friends and families were able find information about the island on the Blog sponsored by KHOU. Our island neighbor (a stranger to us at the time), Brian Hanby, helped relieve our own friends' anxiety by specifically taking photos of our home and posting them to Brian Hanby's Web Album. He responded to many, many other requests for information and photos made by people who were concerned about friends, relatives and their homes and property.
