• About the Club

    Did you know that the Clear Lake Shores (CLS) Civic Club sponsors more than a dozen fun-filled events each year? 

    • The club also donates funds to many worthwhile causes.
    • We publish the Islander Newsletter and distribute it to every island home each month.
    • We also acknowledge and honor the best Yard-Of-The-Month and the best decorated homes at Christmas.
    • We have sent care packages to our troops serving overseas, and when able we have helped other civic and local organizations in their efforts to better our community.

    Our members take a very active role in seeing that the "Little Slice of Paradise" that we call Clear Lake Shores is a home to us all, and not just an address where we live.

    Q: Who can be a member?
    A: Any inhabitant or property owner of the City of Clear Lake Shores, of good character.

    Q: How much does it cost to join?
    A: $25 per year, per family -- the year begins in July and the dues can be paid to the club treasurer.

    Q: When are the meetings?
    A: They are the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Clear Lake Shores Club House.

Our club is a place to come and meet your neighbors, make new friends, and celebrate the Island's unique way of life.

Please explore our web site, send suggestions for anything you think should be included, and come join us for our monthly pot luck dinner and meeting on the first Thursday of each month beginning at 7:00 pm at the Clear Lake Shores Club House.

Curious who is running for City Council? Then come and meet the candidates!!
April 30th, 7:00pm at the Clubhouse.


Where: CLS Pool by Jarboe Park
When: Thursday, May 7th, 7-8:30PM
Annual Pool Memberships are $82 for adult (Single or Couple) and $135 for families. Come meet your neighbors, have some ice cream and get your annual pool membership for 2015-2016. If you can’t make the Ice Cream Social and want to get your pool membership, you can go to City Hall during regular business hours.


Mark your calendars! Clean out your closets and get ready for the CLS Annual Island Wide Garage Sale May 16 w/a rain date of May 23rd. The Civic Club will be seling food and drinks in the City Hall Parking Lot and on the north side of the Island. Volunteers are needed to hand out maps, cook & sell refreshments.
